About the Role

As an AI for AEC Research Intern within Autodesk Research, you will envision and prototype collaborative, multi‑agent AI workflows that respect real‑world AEC project constraints and design goals. Working alongside an applied research team with deep expertise in architecture, construction, and computer science, you will develop experimental AI prototypes and explore novel design‑decision workflows. Your work will help shape future software capabilities and you will have opportunities to present and publish your findings, influencing both internal research directions and the broader AEC‑AI community. • Develop and evaluate a real-world AEC design use case with a collaborative multi‑agent AI workflow. • Prototype, test, and refine AI‑driven workflows, documenting outcomes. • Build and maintain code repositories with clear documentation and visual outputs. • Identify new use cases and assess industry applicability of solutions. • Present research results internally at internship conclusion. • Contribute to or lead a peer‑reviewed publication for an AI/AEC conference. • Developed AI‑driven workflows coordinating multiple reasoning steps or agents for complex design decisions in AEC. • Orchestrated complex, automated design workflows. • Performed data analysis and visualization.
