About the Role

The Manager, Employee Engagement & Community Investment will support Kimberly‑Clark’s global social‑impact agenda as part of the Kimberly‑Clark Foundation. This role leads the strategy and operations for employee engagement initiatives, grantmaking, and community investment programs across North America and select international markets. The position also serves as a key storyteller, raising visibility of the company’s community contributions. The manager oversees employee engagement strategies, grantmaking processes, and community‑investment initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with Kimberly‑Clark’s social‑impact objectives. This role also drives the communication narrative that highlights the company’s contributions to the communities it serves. • Manage global volunteerism, matching gifts, and workplace giving programs, including vendor oversight and performance metrics. • Expand employee engagement programs in international markets, ensuring compliance and platform deployment. • Oversee the K‑C Employee Care Fund and Bright Futures scholarship program. • Direct local grantmaking in key U.S. markets and support community relations for K‑C facilities. • Serve as product owner for the grant application platform, managing the full grant lifecycle from applications to fund distribution. • Develop and execute strategic communications to highlight employee engagement and community investment initiatives. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create community engagement plans for new or expanding facilities.

What You Bring

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in public affairs, strategic communications, journalism or a related field, and bring 5‑8 years of progressive experience in corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, or nonprofit management. Proven leadership, strong project‑management abilities across multiple geographies, and the capacity to analyze engagement metrics are required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as a willingness to travel up to 20 %, are also essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. • 5–8 years of progressive experience in corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, or nonprofit management. • Proven leadership with ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. • Strong project‑management skills across multiple geographies in a fast‑paced environment. • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and provide actionable insights. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences. • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time. • Preferred: experience managing grantmaking programs and charitable giving processes. • Preferred: experience leading employee engagement initiatives (volunteerism, matching gifts, workplace giving) in a corporate or global context. • Preferred: knowledge of U.S. and international charitable‑giving compliance. • Preferred: familiarity with engagement platforms such as YourCause or Benevity. • Preferred: experience creating strategic communications plans and content.
