About the Role
The Land Acquisition Manager supports the acquisition of land, lots, and development opportunities that align with Lennar’s acquisition strategies and current market trends in land development and homebuilding. This role contributes to the company’s purpose of building zero‑defect homes while managing costs and schedules. • Identify potential land acquisition targets through tax maps and networking with brokers, landowners, and other contacts. • Facilitate due diligence and schedule activities via the Greenbook process with the VP of Land. • Participate in weekly land acquisition meetings and update the Division President and VP of Land and Development on potential deals. • Assist in rezoning efforts and attend meetings with government officials, engineers, and homeowners. • Maintain inventory reports, critical dates, contract summaries, and periodic market analyses. • Organize and keep land contract files, maps, and related documents in the division office. • Network with other builders and developers to stay market‑aware and develop key contacts. • Support management in negotiating purchase and sale agreements, coordinating with outside and regional attorneys for approvals. • Collaborate with the VP of Land and VP of Finance to keep the five‑year plan current on a monthly basis. • Update the contract status report for the division on a weekly basis.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field preferred, and possess strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. They must be able to work independently, have a valid driver’s license and insurance, and be able to handle occasional physical tasks in an office setting. • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance, or similar field preferred. • Proficient in word‑processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling, and data management software. • Knowledge of sales, negotiating principles, and real estate practices. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision. • Detail‑oriented problem‑solver capable of handling complex situations. • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and valid auto insurance coverage. • Ability to perform occasional physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, lifting or moving office supplies up to 25 lb.
