What You Bring
AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Federal environmental remediation projects from our Chelmsford, MA or Providence, RI office, with the potential for remote work. The role involves overseeing complex environmental projects, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Hold a BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience. • Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check. • Professional Engineer (PE) or PG license is preferred. • 10+ years of environmental remediation project management experience (soil, water, sediment, PFAS, munitions). • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (preferred). • Experience negotiating with regulators and stakeholders and managing Federal client projects (USACE, AFCEC, Navy). • In‑depth knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA regulations. • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. • Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and resources to deliver projects on time and on budget. • Skilled in preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders; interested in business development. • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.

Benefits
The position offers a hybrid work model in Massachusetts, with an annual compensation range of $110,000 to $145,000. Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
