About the Role

Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1. Join Rolls‑Royce, a globally recognized company, and help pioneer the next generation of innovation. The role is responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing products and shipments, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining stockroom inventory. You will also load and unload trucks, applying basic material‑handling knowledge such as product picking and forklift operations. Key responsibilities include supplying material to assembly lines, comparing counts on shipments, verifying documentation such as bills of lading and packing slips, unpacking and routing incoming shipments, reporting defective materials, and posting information into the computer system. Material moves between storage locations and docks are performed using radio‑frequency scanning equipment, and you will support inventory cycle counts and material replenishment to the assembly line while adhering to ERP, quality, safety, and environmental procedures. • Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, comparing them to bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices. • Prepare items for shipment and load/unload trucks. • Maintain stockroom inventory and move material between storage locations and docks using RF scanning equipment. • Operate forklift, overhead crane, and other material‑handling equipment; obtain required vehicle licenses. • Follow ERP, quality, safety, and environmental procedures and promote compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.

What You Bring

Candidates must be able to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and related equipment, and obtain necessary power‑vehicle licenses when required. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of shipping and receiving experience are required, while strong interpersonal, communication, reading, writing, math, and basic PC skills are preferred.
