About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and installs, maintains, and repairs automated packaging and distribution equipment. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays, and managing work orders that track labor hours, parts used, and inventory. The role also involves mentoring junior technicians and maintaining positive relationships across the facility. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance and document procedures. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians and maintain positive facility relationships.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, predictive and preventative maintenance experience, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge of electrical principles, proficiency with a CMMS and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work flexible schedules. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field, familiarity with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety guidelines, experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Physical demands entail reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders or an aerial lift, lifting up to 50 lb, wearing required PPE, moving between departments and floors, working in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, and spending 1–2 hours daily on computer tasks. • Require high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years MHE repair experience. • Require experience with predictive maintenance, blueprint reading, and CMMS. • Prefer associate degree in mechanical/electrical field and robotics maintenance experience. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, work overhead, kneel, squat, and operate an aerial lift.
