About the Role
The role involves physical labor at construction sites, assisting the crew with the installation of various utilities such as sewer, water, and storm drain, and performing tasks like checking grade, compacting, and shoveling. • Control traffic passing near, in, or around the work zone. • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. • Load, unload, and distribute building materials and tools according to project plans or specifications. • Measure, mark, and record openings or distances to layout construction areas. • Manually dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications using power and hand tools. • Operate pumps, compressors, or generators to power tools, machinery, or move materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt. • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas. • Follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the safety manual.

What You Bring
• Minimum six months of experience in construction or a related field. • Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lb, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
