About the Role
In this role you will architect and coordinate cyberspace capability development, perform software engineering and vulnerability research for offensive and defensive cyber operations, and conduct representative capability testing before operational deployment. You will develop and automate unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, generate testing reports, and assess procured and home‑grown cyber capabilities for operational acceptance. • Architect and coordinate cyberspace capability development for joint operational products. • Conduct offensive and defensive cyber operations, including vulnerability research on Windows and Linux. • Perform capability testing and develop automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests with evaluation reports. • Automate documentation (docs‑as‑code) and maintain technical manuals, system operations, and testing documentation. • Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, produce source code, and deliver technical specifications. • Design virtual test environments, configure hypervisors, containers, and network flows.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking an experienced Software Developer with DevSecOps and docs‑as‑code expertise to support specialized military cyber operations. You will be a critical member of a small team, applying high‑level software development skills to a national security mission that includes offensive capability development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research for Windows and Linux environments. Required qualifications include an active TS/SCI with polygraph, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 10 years of experience with 5 years of programming or scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby. Candidates must have extensive experience in virtual test environment design, DevSecOps pipelines (linting, testing, docs‑as‑code), and be proficient in offensive capability development for Windows and Linux while working in an agile/scrum environment. Desired qualifications add a master's degree and 15+ years of cybersecurity analysis experience, deep knowledge of Windows and Linux internals, host‑based and network forensics, red‑team/blue‑team operations, malware analysis, binary disassembly, and exploit development. Familiarity with kernel or system‑level programming, protocol analysis, and shellcode techniques is also valued. • Hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance. • Minimum 10 years experience, 5 years with Python, Bash, PowerShell or Ruby; strong DevSecOps expertise using GitLab pipelines. • Desired: Master's degree, 15+ years cybersecurity analysis, knowledge of OS internals, forensics, red‑team/blue‑team operations, malware analysis, and exploit development.
