About the Role
A Job Captain is responsible for producing high quality project deliverables in construction documents. The Job Captain works across all project phases, from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring coordination and timely execution. • Assist Project Architect in developing bidding and construction documents. • Provide input to design and construction schedule and communicate technical implications. • Organize and direct architectural/engineering team to execute work orderly and timely. • Support tasks required for successful project completion. • Prepare project construction documents. • Communicate and coordinate document preparation with consultants, contractors, and team members. • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance. • Document code review and ensure compliance. • Coordinate daily operations with management, clients, consultants, and contractors. • Interact effectively with senior management, clients, and vendors. • Maintain a client‑focused service mentality.

What You Bring
• Hold an Architectural degree. • Have 4–8 years of professional experience (preferred). • Demonstrate proficiency in Revit Architecture. • Possess skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp or other 3D modeling and rendering tools (a plus). • Have DSA experience (preferred). • Experience in educational, healthcare, corporate, or sports projects (preferred). • Exhibit strong customer service skills. • Exhibit strong organizational abilities. • Work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. • Demonstrate superior graphic, written, and verbal communication. • Show strong desire to excel in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. • Apply strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills.

Benefits
Compensation for California locations ranges from $59,977 to $89,966, with potential discretionary bonuses and a full benefits package.
