About the Role
• Conduct on‑site inspections of roadway and transportation infrastructure. • Apply standard inspection techniques, procedures, and criteria. • Observe and document construction activities for compliance with specifications, safety, and quality standards. • Collect and organize field data, including measurements, photos, and material samples. • Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain accurate project records. • Shadow experienced inspectors and engineers to learn inspection methodologies. • Attend project meetings and site visits to understand project management and stakeholder communication. • Review construction drawings and specifications to become familiar with project requirements. • Use various inspection tools and equipment under supervision. • Assist in developing punch lists and performing final inspections. • Participate in safety training and adhere to all site safety protocols. • Collaborate on small projects or specific aspects of larger projects to develop teamwork skills.
