Senior Diesel Mechanic 2nd Shift
Maintain and repair diesel trucks/equipment, including CNG fleet, at WM's Menomonee site.

About the Role
Each day you will maintain and repair trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers nationwide, using modern tools and procedures on diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics in project work • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and established safety procedures

What You Bring
To be considered, you must have at least four years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be 18 or older, legally eligible to work in the United States, and be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
