About the Role
In this role the Director supports the SVP by developing and executing sustainable corporate strategies that align across Hitachi High‑Tech’s global subsidiaries. The individual translates corporate direction into actionable initiatives, builds strategic relationships with customers and partners, and ensures the organization is prepared for future growth. Key duties include collaborating with the CEO, COO and business‑unit leaders to shape corporate policy, leading strategic projects in the semiconductor, healthcare and environment sectors, and driving management and process improvements to boost operational efficiency. The Director also facilitates communication with global partners and accelerates collaboration with the broader Hitachi Group. • Support formulation and execution of corporate policies with CEO, COO, SVP, and business unit leaders • Lead strategic initiatives in semiconductor, healthcare, and environment sectors • Drive management and business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and global subsidiaries • Accelerate collaboration with the Hitachi Group to foster growth

What You Bring
The Director of Corporate Strategy will be based in the Dallas, TX area (or Schaumburg, IL) and reports to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy. This full‑time, hybrid role requires at least 20 hours per week onsite and involves domestic and international travel. The position is exempt under the FLSA and does not supervise other staff. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field and be fluent in English and Japanese. Ten years of managerial or equivalent experience in large‑scale strategy development, proven work with senior leadership, and a track record of cross‑border projects are required. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related discipline • Demonstrate fluency in English and Japanese with strong communication skills • Provide at least 10 years of managerial or equivalent experience in business strategy • Experience working with senior leadership on strategic issues and cross‑border projects • Exhibit strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder communication abilities • Travel domestically and internationally as required • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
