About the Role
The incumbent will support billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions for both vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, GAAP, and company policies. They will also contribute to month‑end close activities, project financial closeouts, and audit requests while maintaining accurate project asset and rental records. The position involves physical tasks such as climbing stairs, ladders, and using construction hoists, and may require occasional lifting of heavy items. Work is performed on active construction sites where exposure to noise, fumes, weather, and moving equipment is common. • Assist accountant to ensure client contractual billing and accounts receivable requirements are met. • Support accountant in auditing client billing and project ledger in accordance with contracts, GAAP, and company policy. • Process vendor invoices and keep project accounts payable up to date. • Process subcontractor invoices, verify lien waivers, contracts, and insurance documentation. • Help complete the monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Provide monthly updates on project assets and rentals for insurance documentation. • Assist with project financial closeout, confirming final contract amounts and required documentation. • Respond to internal and external audit requests. • Work on construction sites with exposure to noise, fumes, weather, and moving equipment.

What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience) and a solid grasp of basic accounting principles are required. The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team, demonstrating strong communication and ethical work habits. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent combination of education and experience). • General knowledge of basic accounting principles. • Ability to research problems, resolve them, and escalate issues promptly. • Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy. • Capability to work independently with minimal oversight and in team environments. • Adherence to established procedures and follow‑through without manager follow‑up. • Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, dependability, adaptability, and motivation. • Professional written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in data entry, databases, MS Office, and general office applications. • Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, use construction hoists, and lift/move heavy objects.

Benefits
• Salary range: $66,980 to $78,650 annually.
