About the Role

• Project support to include project team meetings; Acquisition tracking and data management • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel objects, tools, controls. Reach with hands and arms, hear and talk. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. • Vendor will work with appraisers, estimators, and others to determine land, timber and other values. • Provide ROW and real estate support for Senior Right of Way Agents working on Transmission & Distribution line projects in New Hampshire. • Reporting may include weekly, monthly or quarterly acquisition reports and current landowner negotiation status reports. • Regular submission of reports in the form of project summary spreadsheets and transaction notices • Real property and rights document preparation to include deeds, easements, purchase and sale agreements and other agreements as assigned. • In addition, Agent will support ROW Specialists with the following to include City/Town records research; Registry of deeds and probate research; Eversource easement research and analysis; Temporary and permanent easement and license acquisitions; Stone wall and gate agreement acquisition. • Closing and recording purchases; Landowner negotiations.

What You Bring

• Must be able to work alone, make decisions and use judgment while performing related activities. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus in use of computer monitor and other manual, task-related functions. • Must be responsible, organized, self-motivated, willing to learn and a team-player. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Employee is expected to use good judgment when lifting or moving office supplies and/or furniture and to seek assistance or wear back support appliances when appropriate. • Commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work in team-oriented environment • The ability to work independently demonstrating self-assurance in one’s ideas, judgment and capabilities is key. • Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and quantitative skills • Creativity, foresight and mature judgment to identify and resolve business, technical and administrative related problems with ROW services. • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely to prepare reports, specifications, applications, and correspondence. • Able to interact with all levels of management and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. • Excellent written and oral communication skills required as well as proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and the NH Registry of Deeds portals. • A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is necessary as research, or closings may entail travel to various NH cities or towns. • Experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position • Requires specialized knowledge in the methods and techniques for performing Land Services activities. Must possess competent knowledge and skills in land description and terminology, surface and subsurface rights, ROW document analysis, and have excellent negotiation skills.
