The Outside Sales Representative role focuses on generating profitable business within a designated profit center’s equipment lineup. Responsibilities include developing an assigned territory, executing sales plans to grow revenue, maintaining the existing customer base, and contributing to Sunbelt’s national branding identity. Success in the position relies on cold‑calling, closing skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. The role offers a pathway toward sales or operational management career tracks. Candidates should have a four‑year degree in a related field with at least one year of experience, or three to four years of direct sales experience. A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and a minimum age of 21 are required. Essential skills include project management, new‑business development, customer retention, effective communication, negotiation, and solid computer proficiency. Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment is preferred, and bilingual Spanish ability may be advantageous in certain locations. • Leverage your cold‑calling & closing skills to expand an existing portfolio within a high demand market • 4‑year college degree in related field with at least 1 year of related experience OR 3‑4 years of related sales experience • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record • 21 years of age • Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills • Effective communication and negotiation skills • Solid computer skills • Knowledge of ground protection, construction or specialty industrial equipment preferred • Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred in some locations
