About the Role

Key responsibilities include researching environmental, social and sustainability regulations across the UAE and GCC, supporting the assessment and application of regional sustainability policies, and maintaining awareness of evolving regulatory frameworks. The consultant will review client EHS and social data sets to identify trends, contribute to high‑quality deliverables, and work closely with multidisciplinary consultants on a variety of ESG projects. • Research UAE and GCC environmental, social, and sustainability regulations. • Support assessment and application of regional sustainability policies for clients. • Monitor evolving national and regional regulatory frameworks. • Review client EHS and social data to identify trends and inform decisions. • Prepare high-quality deliverables for client engagements. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants on ESG projects. • Join a team of global sustainability and ESG experts. • Build foundational experience at a leading sustainability consultancy. • Contribute to shaping ESG strategies for major regional clients.

What You Bring

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Sustainability Consultant to join ERM’s growing team in the UAE. This entry‑level role is ideal for a fresh graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental policy in the GCC region. The position offers exposure to sectors such as renewable energy, finance, industrial and technology, providing a solid foundation for a long‑term consulting career. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Economics or a related field with an environmental focus, and possesses strong research and analytical skills to interpret regulatory and technical information. Proficiency in English and Arabic, comfort with data analysis and clear presentation, as well as motivation, collaboration and a willingness to learn in a global consulting environment are essential. • Hold a degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, economics, or a related field. • Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and regulatory interpretation skills. • Communicate effectively in English and Arabic. • Work comfortably with data and present findings clearly. • Exhibit motivation, collaboration, and eagerness to learn in a global consulting environment.
