About the Role

Additional responsibilities include representing Syska Hennessy Group with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating with architectural and engineering teams. The role also involves conducting field inspections, assisting senior engineers with due‑diligence and feasibility reports using CAD/Revit, and maintaining drawing organization standards. • Create basic designs and perform equipment selections, load, energy, and pressure‑drop calculations. • Represent the firm and coordinate with internal design teams, clients, consultants, architects, and vendors. • Conduct field inspections and assess existing conditions for new work. • Assist senior engineers with due‑diligence, feasibility, gap analysis, and technical drawings using CAD/Revit. • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of work assignments. • Maintain drawing organization according to company standards. • Attend continuing‑education seminars to enhance technical and professional skills.

What You Bring

Candidates must demonstrate strong Revit and MEP skills, from mark‑ups to detailed drawing production, and have basic knowledge of construction documentation and design phase requirements. Proficiency with trade‑specific design and calculation software such as eQuest or Trace is advantageous. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3.5–8 years of MEP experience on aviation, healthcare, commercial, or mission‑critical projects, and the latest versions of AutoCAD MEP and Revit. FE certification is required; PE is preferred, along with experience in aviation/transportation, large‑scale projects, and an interest in project management. • Hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 3.5–8 years of MEP experience on aviation, healthcare, commercial, or mission‑critical projects. • Possess strong Revit and AutoCAD MEP skills; experience with eQuest, Trace, or similar energy analysis tools. • FE certification required; PE preferred; knowledge of applicable codes and system selection.
