About the Role
The Senior Site Service Manager will oversee service and maintenance of the PBT system, ensure high system availability, maximize customer satisfaction, and lead the on‑site service team. Key duties include managing contracted service activities such as preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing countermeasures, while maintaining compliance with FDA, radiation‑safety, OSHA, and internal policies. The role also involves budget and inventory control, tool and equipment calibration, and coordination with Japanese engineers to incorporate new technologies. • Manage on‑site service activities: preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and root‑cause countermeasures. • Lead and mentor the US site service team, schedule shifts, and oversee work performance. • Ensure compliance with FDA, radiation safety, OSHA, and internal policies. • Respond to service calls within 24 hours, 7 days a week. • Conduct quality control and quality assurance per the QMS. • Maintain tools, equipment, and calibration schedules. • Control budget, inventory, and spare‑part usage to minimize costs. • Approve purchase orders, invoices, QA documents, and employee timecards. • Coordinate with Japanese engineers to implement system improvements and new technologies. • Handle bookkeeping and documentation for site operations.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, have at least one year of medical‑device design experience, and three years of management, budget‑control, or customer‑relationship experience. Technical abilities must include troubleshooting, interpreting engineering documents, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; bilingual Japanese is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, physics, nuclear, medical) – preferred. • Minimum 1 year experience in medical device/equipment design or software. • Minimum 3 years experience in organization management, budget control, or customer relationship management. • Proven troubleshooting ability and skill interpreting schematics, wiring, and piping diagrams. • Ability to train staff on electrical test equipment and safe work practices in high‑voltage and radiation areas. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel. • Ability to read Japanese technical documents (optional). • Physical ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly and work at heights with safety harnesses.
