About the Role

The Excavator/Loader Operator will safely operate excavators and loaders to support stripping operations and material movement. Responsibilities include routine equipment inspections, loading, moving and placing materials to keep site progression efficient, and following all safety procedures while coordinating daily tasks with crew members and supervisors to meet production goals. The role supports North Georgia operations in an outdoor mining environment and may require travel of up to approximately 33 % to South Georgia. Workers will navigate uneven terrain, operate around heavy equipment, and must wear personal protective equipment while maintaining a consistent field presence for stripping activities. • Operate excavators and loaders safely to support stripping and material movement. • Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance needs. • Load, move, and place materials to maintain efficient site progression. • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to team safety performance. • Coordinate daily tasks with crew members and supervisors to meet production goals. • Maintain equipment and support continuous improvement activities. • Travel up to 33% to support operations in South Georgia.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $33.01 per hour and includes a 401(k) plan with automatic company contributions and matching, comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits, as well as HSA, HRA and FSA options.
