About the Role

The Production Coordinator manages job scheduling, technician assignments, and production flow within the aftermarket repair workshop. Working closely with Repair Coordinators, Technicians, Quality, and Logistics, the role ensures customer commitments are met, backlogs are balanced, and shop operations run efficiently and safely. • Manage production schedules and release work orders to meet customer deadlines. • Serve as primary point of contact for technicians regarding job assignments and workflow coordination. • Track work orders and align schedules with shop capacity and customer requirements. • Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to address delays or urgent repairs. • Coordinate daily shop activities to optimize workflow and resource utilization. • Collaborate with Operations Manager to track KPIs such as shop utilization, technician efficiency, and turnaround times. • Lead daily and weekly production meetings with shop and office personnel. • Identify potential delays and communicate proactively with Repair Coordinators. • Ensure accurate repair documentation, including parts usage and job completion records. • Oversee labor hour reporting to maintain job cost accuracy. • Maintain quality oversight to meet company and customer standards. • Promote communication and alignment across Repair Coordination, Quality, and Management teams. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, shop policies, and industry regulations. • Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. • Perform additional hands‑on duties in the workshop as required. • Follow all safety processes and procedures. • Complete required safety training and participate in ongoing development programs. • Consistently wear Nikkiso‑approved PPE and enforce compliance among team members.

What You Bring

The position operates in a fast‑paced, hands‑on workshop environment that requires regular use of tools, machinery, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Safety is a top priority, with expectations to follow all safety protocols, complete required training, and consistently wear approved personal protective equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school preferred. • Minimum 3 years experience in production coordination or repair planning, preferably in aftermarket or service‑based environments. • Relevant pump repair experience required. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials. • Strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
