About the Role
The Warehouse Manager role, reporting to the Senior Manager Operations and based in NSBP – Operations, leads all day‑to‑day warehouse activities. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods while maintaining operational excellence and compliance with statutory requirements. The primary purpose of the role is to guarantee inventory accuracy, resource planning, and safety throughout the facility. Continuous improvement initiatives are driven to boost productivity, service levels, and cost efficiency. Key functions include overseeing inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes, developing standard operating procedures, and coordinating with transport, procurement, and customer service teams. The manager also optimizes space utilization, resolves inventory discrepancies, and leads a team of supervisors and associates through effective manpower planning, training, and performance management. Safety, quality, and regulatory compliance are critical, especially for cold‑chain operations. The manager enforces safety standards, 5S, housekeeping, and statutory guidelines, investigates incidents, and ensures readiness for internal and external audits. • Oversee inbound, outbound, and inventory management activities. • Ensure timely unloading, put‑away, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for warehouse workflows. • Coordinate with transport, procurement, and customer service teams. • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations. • Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout planning. • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. • Lead supervisors, executives, and warehouse associates. • Plan manpower deployment, shift scheduling, and rostering. • Conduct training, performance reviews, and skill development programs. • Enforce safety standards, 5S, and housekeeping guidelines. • Maintain compliance with customs, excise, and statutory requirements. • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. • Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and improve operational KPIs. • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports. • Coordinate internal and external audits. • Work independently to ensure compliance with stringent regulatory guidelines, especially cold chain. • Physically handle and move cold chain products using appropriate equipment. • Work extended periods in cold chambers while adhering to PPE and safety protocols.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates work independently, possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and have prior experience with cold‑chain audits. The role demands physical capability to handle products in cold environments, extended periods in temperature‑controlled chambers, and a bachelor's degree (B.Pharm, B.Sc. Microbiology, or related) with 2–3 years of pharmaceutical warehouse management experience. • Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving and strong communication skills. • Possess prior experience managing cold chain audits and inspections. • Operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with high accuracy. • Hold a bachelor’s degree (B.Pharm, B.Sc. Microbiology, or other). • Understand GDP guidelines and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements for cold chain products. • Have 2–3 years experience in pharmaceutical warehouse management with cold chain handling. • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office. • Skilled in documentation, batch tracking, and FIFO/FEFO stock rotation.
