About the Role
The Planning Engineer will develop, maintain, track and report on project monitoring and control processes for assigned projects. The role involves providing planning, scheduling and cost monitoring details, coordinating with project stakeholders, conducting site visits to verify progress, and identifying potential critical issues. The engineer also supports organizational strategic initiatives and should possess basic costing and billing knowledge. Key responsibilities include overseeing schedule management activities, reviewing both internal and contractor schedules, and coordinating design, procurement, BOQ and specification reviews. The engineer prepares cost estimates, verifies quantities, and produces reports, presentations, minutes of meetings, RFPs and MIS reports while tracking schedules. Regular interaction with external and internal stakeholders is required to ensure project alignment. • Develop, maintain, track, and report project monitoring and control processes. • Coordinate with stakeholders, conduct site visits, and identify critical issues. • Oversee schedule management, reviewing internal and contractor schedules. • Manage design, procurement, BOQ, specifications, cost estimates, and quantity verification. • Prepare reports, presentations, minutes, RFPs, and MIS reports. • Maintain PMI, RICS, or AACEI certification (advantageous).

What You Bring
Candidates should have 6‑12 years of experience, with at least 3‑4 years in an airport environment, and a BArch, BE or B.Tech plus a relevant postgraduate degree from NICMAR, CEPT or SPA (architect preferred, Masters required). Certifications such as PMI, RICS or AACEI are a plus. Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, MS Office and other project management software is essential, along with strong communication, presentation and people‑management skills. • Utilize MS Project/Primavera and other project management software. • Possess 6‑12 years of experience, including 3‑4 years in an airport environment. • Hold BArch/BE/B.Tech with a postgraduate degree from NICMAR, CEPT or SPA; architect preferred. • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and people‑management skills. • Capable of costing and billing when required.
