About the Role

The role involves affixing a variety of sub‑assemblies to the interior of enclosures and commercial products, following printed layouts as well as verbal and written instructions. The employee uses pneumatic and manual hand tools to secure components, labels enclosures with product information, and conducts quality checks on assembled parts and finished enclosures. Finished enclosures are lifted into boxes, cut, formed, taped for appropriate sizing, and then palletized for shipment. The position also includes first‑article inspections and participation in 5S and continuous‑improvement activities while working as part of a team responsible for assembling entire products or components. • Assemble sub‑assemblies inside enclosures using pneumatic and manual tools per printed layouts and instructions. • Label enclosures, perform quality checks, and conduct first‑article inspections. • Package finished enclosures, cut, form, tape, and palletize boxes for shipment. • Participate in 5S and continuous‑improvement initiatives as a team member.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution and must reside in the immediate Sherman, TX area, as no relocation assistance is provided. Only local applicants will be considered. Applicants should have experience in a machine‑shop or sheet‑metal processing environment and prior assembly or sub‑assembly work in a production setting. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using simple measuring tools is required. The role demands the ability to lift 50‑75 lb, stand eight hours or more, perform repetitive tasks, and work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays. • Must have a high school diploma or GED; candidates must reside in the Sherman, TX area (no relocation assistance). • Required experience in machine‑shop or sheet‑metal manufacturing and production assembly. • Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools. • Capable of lifting 50–75 lb, standing 8+ hours, and performing repetitive tasks. • Able to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.
