About the Role
Key responsibilities include supporting billing and accounts receivable to meet client contract requirements, auditing client billing and project ledgers for compliance with contracts, GAAP, and company policy, and processing both vendor and subcontractor invoices while ensuring lien waivers, contracts, and insurance documentation are in place. The incumbent also assists with the monthly close, updates project assets and rentals for insurance purposes, helps finalize project financial closeouts, and responds to internal and external audit requests. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. • Assist accountant in meeting client contractual billing and accounts receivable requirements. • Audit client billing and project ledgers for compliance with contracts, GAAP, and company policies. • Process vendor invoices and maintain up‑to‑date accounts payable for assigned projects. • Process subcontractor invoices, ensuring lien waivers, contracts, and insurance are in place. • Support monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Update project assets and rentals monthly for insurance documentation. • Aid project financial closeout, confirming final contract amounts and required documentation. • Respond to internal and external audit requests.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience, and demonstrate general knowledge of basic accounting principles. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while also collaborating effectively in a team environment. Strong work ethic, integrity, communication skills, data‑entry proficiency, and competence with MS Office and database applications are essential. The position involves physical demands such as climbing stairs, ladders, and using construction hoists, as well as the ability to work in noisy, outdoor, and potentially hazardous construction sites with exposure to moving equipment, fumes, and weather conditions.
