Construction Business Services (CBS), Permit Applications is seeking a highly motivated, customer service oriented, and resourceful leader to join its team and contribute to the success of a diverse and innovative department within Construction. This manager position will provide oversight for the day‑to‑day management of the CBS Permit teams located throughout the Con Ed service territory. It will work closely with Construction, Gas, Electric, and Steam sections to ensure their permitting needs are met and will interact with external stakeholders such as Westchester Municipalities, DOT, DEP, NY State, and other agencies as applicable. The ideal candidate must be well organized, have a high energy level, and understand the vital importance of effective stakeholder management, commitment to excellence, compliance, and personal accountability. They must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, make sound business decisions, collaborate with multiple teams, and maintain a positive work ethic.
