About the Role

The job involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes while adhering to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations. Drivers must keep their vehicles clean and safe at all times. Key duties include conducting pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, promptly reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and participating in required training sessions. Drivers also communicate customer requests, dump containers cleanly, position them properly, complete customer tickets, and finalize all route documentation. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck safely in compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR forms. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or service calls immediately. • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Dump containers cleanly, reposition lids, and ensure containers do not block driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets and route documentation at the end of each shift. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

Applicants must hold a Commercial Driver’s License Class B, be at least 18 years old, and pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check and motor‑vehicle‑record review. No prior work experience or formal education is required, but an acceptable driving record is essential.
