About the Role
• Participate in coordination and design review meetings with multidisciplinary teams, supervisors, clients, and owners. • Coordinate design and documentation to meet project schedules and budgets. • Author and maintain structural specifications, select construction procedures, determine materials and member sizes, and perform required calculations. • Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change proposals, and change orders, integrating revisions into project documents. • Conduct site observations and walks during construction, authoring observation reports for the construction administration phase.

What You Bring
• Communicate design and coordination items verbally and in writing, producing defensible engineering reports, memos, and emails. • Minimum 4 years progressive structural engineering experience with steel, concrete, and/or masonry design. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural) or Architectural Engineering; master’s degree optional. • Extensive experience in shallow and deep foundation design using various building materials. • Proficiency in Revit Structure 2019 or newer and advanced analysis tools such as Risa Floor, Risa 3D, and ETABS. • Ability to verify computer‑aided designs with hand calculations and produce detailed hand sketches for connections. • Expertise in steel design, including diaphragms, collectors, drag struts, braces, and moment frames. • Expertise in concrete design, member scheduling, rebar and bend scheduling, and connections. • Proficiency in masonry design and connections to structural steel and concrete frames. • Strong understanding of the International Building Code and reference codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, MSJC, NDS, PTI, etc.). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experienced with Bluebeam Revu, Bluebeam Studio Sessions, and Microsoft Office suite.
