About the Role

The Outbound Lead oversees outbound operations, coordinating and optimizing product shipments to customers to ensure timely delivery and high satisfaction. Reporting to the Outbound Supervisor, the role also assists in managing warehouse activities, directing team members, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Key duties include maintaining high customer satisfaction, scheduling and training the outbound team, and measuring performance. The role collaborates with internal departments such as warehouse, inventory, and customer service, ensures compliance with shipping regulations and customs documentation, and implements best practices for packaging, labeling, and loading/unloading. Additional responsibilities involve controlling order distribution and warehouse flow, performing housekeeping tasks, responding to emails within 24 hours, completing data entry and system updates, and performing other duties as needed. • Lead and coordinate outbound shipping operations to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. • Manage outbound team scheduling, training, and performance evaluation. • Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service to prioritize order fulfillment. • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs documentation, and hazardous material handling. • Implement best practices for packaging, labeling, and loading/unloading to prevent damage. • Control order distribution, maintain warehouse flow, and uphold housekeeping standards. • Respond to emails within 24 hours and maintain accurate data entry and system updates.

What You Bring

Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED, three years of warehouse experience with WMS knowledge, and at least one year in a lead role; equivalent education and experience combinations are considered. Preferred qualifications include strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel), proven leadership and team management abilities, outbound shipping management experience, excellent communication, organization, and supervisory techniques. The position demands physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, bend, work at heights up to 22 ft on a cherry picker, and adapt to varying temperatures and mobile stairs. • Require high school diploma/GED, 3+ years warehouse experience with WMS, and at least 1 year in a lead role. • Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong leadership, outbound shipping management experience, and excellent communication skills. • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, working at heights up to 22 ft, and handling varying temperatures.
