About the Role

• Perform pre‑site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications on power distribution and critical power equipment. • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in collaboration with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, and service teams. • Complete field service reports, expense reports, preventive‑maintenance logs, and startup data sheets. • Work with managers or regional service directors to address complex escalated issues. • Continuously learn product knowledge through classroom and on‑the‑job training. • Travel regionally or nationwide, including overnight trips, to support customer sites. • Assist senior technicians and project managers on large system start‑ups and high‑complexity projects. • Act on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational concerns. • Provided service vehicle, tools, uniform, mobile device, and laptop for daily use.

What You Bring

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, military training, or equivalent electrical‑related experience. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Strong understanding of AC/DC power principles, UPS systems, switchgear, ATS, and related equipment. • Minimum 2 years of field service repair and customer service experience with UPS or comparable systems. • 2 years of field services or equivalent industry experience. • Knowledge of NFPA‑70E, OSHA safety standards; strong safety practices including lock‑out/tag‑out. • Proficiency with test and diagnostic equipment and safe vehicle operation. • Excellent written communication for service reports and customer correspondence. • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb, work in confined spaces, and endure various environmental conditions. • English proficiency and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, digital tools).

For this U.S.-based full‑time role, the salary range is $66,000 – $99,000 per year, inclusive of base pay and short‑term incentive. Pay within the range is influenced by performance, skills, experience, and education.
