SAP Expert - WM

About the Role

You will provide functional and business process expertise on multidisciplinary project teams, conduct scoping and fit‑gap workshops, and propose solutions with accurate effort estimations. All designs must align with the architectural roadmap, adhere to global template standards, and be delivered within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints. Key technical tasks include translating business requirements into functional specifications for S/4HANA modules such as MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, QM, and PM, configuring and customizing the WM/HUM modules, and managing integration points using IDOC, RFC and CIF. You will also lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and deliver end‑user training and comprehensive documentation. • Assist clients with SAP solution selection, implementation, configuration, and testing. • Provide functional and business process expertise within multidisciplinary project teams. • Conduct scoping, fit‑gap workshops, and propose solutions with effort estimations. • Design system solutions aligned with architectural roadmap and global templates. • Perform solution testing, peer reviews, and ensure delivery meets time, cost, and quality targets. • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, QM, PM). • Configure and customize SAP WM/HUM modules and manage master‑data integration. • Implement interfaces using IDOC, RFC, CIF and set up ABAP push channels. • Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; provide end‑user training and documentation. • Support application operations under SLA, employing Agile and DevOps methodologies.

What You Bring

The position requires deep expertise in Warehouse Management (WM) and extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA. You will assist clients throughout the selection, implementation, configuration, and testing phases of SAP solutions, ensuring designs meet both functional and non‑functional requirements. Candidates should have 8‑10 years of experience with SAP WM (including Handling Unit Management) and MM, preferably on S/4HANA, with a proven record of implementation, enhancement, and rollout projects. In‑depth knowledge of WM processes—such as inbound/outbound, storage control, replenishment, slotting, inventory, transportation, yard management, RF, wave, and MFS integration—is essential, along with familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices and basic ABAP debugging skills. Strong behavioral competencies are required, including the ability to coordinate with global teams, challenge and clarify specifications, and communicate analytically and logically. You must follow SDLC processes, work collaboratively across regional and local support groups, and maintain a customer‑centric approach to deliver high‑quality service. • 8‑10 years experience with SAP WM (including HUM) and MM on S/4HANA. • Proven track record in WM implementation, enhancement, and rollout projects. • Deep knowledge of WM processes: inbound/outbound, storage control, replenishment, slotting, inventory, transportation, yard, RF, wave, and MFS integration. • Experience with SAP enterprise structure, interface concepts, and basic ABAP debugging. • Strong analytical, logical, and communication skills; ability to coordinate with global teams.
