About the Role

The role involves setting up trailers, interpreting blueprints, building decks, stairs, roofs, and other temporary structures, and performing both concrete and rough carpentry tasks while supporting journeymen and foremen. • Set up trailers and tool containers (e.g., Conexes). • Review blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine material needs and dimensions. • Construct decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, and install shelves. • Install erosion control measures such as silt fences and straw bales per site plan. • Hand‑set forms and assemble gang forms for concrete work. • Assist journeyman and foreman with grading and elevation tasks. • Unload, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials. • Perform concrete and rough carpentry, including walls, footings, structural decks, drywall, finish carpentry, doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and cabinetry.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least two years of carpentry experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably trade or technical school certification, with the ability to work precisely, visualize drawings, and communicate effectively in English. Strong teamwork, a positive attitude, detail orientation, and professional customer service skills are essential, as is the physical ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 lb (heavier loads with assistance).
