About the Role
Key duties include conducting marketing tours, preparing vacant units, and handling prospect and resident communications promptly. The specialist coordinates leasing traffic, processes applications, oversees lease renewals, and maintains the cleanliness and presentation of apartments and community spaces to Weidner standards. Additionally, the associate supports vendor interactions, maintains confidential files, collects revenues, and follows safety and compliance procedures. • Conduct marketing tours, open target units, and ensure apartments are clean and rent‑ready. • Coordinate daily marketing activities (people, product, price, promotion) to boost community performance. • Respond promptly to resident and prospect calls, emails, and inquiries; log all leasing traffic. • Guide prospective residents through tours and facilitate the application process to achieve high closing ratios. • Review, process, and communicate application results immediately upon receipt. • Manage lease renewals, develop retention programs, and follow the Weidner Move‑In Experience. • Perform market analysis, monitor competitor properties, and implement leasing strategies. • Maintain spotless community areas, model homes, and office spaces in line with quality standards. • Collect rents, deposits, and fees; handle service requests and ensure confidentiality of resident records. • Promote safety, use PPE, and address any safety incidents or emergencies promptly.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least two years of property‑management experience and a prior customer‑service background. Required skills include strong motivation, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, effective communication across multiple channels, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi and Paycom is preferred. Applicants must pass a background check, hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and be willing to work flexible hours and adhere to company policies. • Minimum 2 + years of property‑management experience with strong customer‑service background. • Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and motivate self and team in a fast‑paced setting. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or Paycom preferred. • Clear, professional communication via phone, email, text, and in‑person. • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and up‑to‑date insurance. • Willingness to undergo background check, voluntary drug testing, and work flexible hours.
