About the Role

The role is responsible for ensuring the quality of fabricated steel by reviewing design documents, inspecting materials, overseeing production, and conducting final inspections. It requires a detail‑oriented individual with experience in structural fabrication and quality control, collaborating with the production team to meet design specifications and quality standards. • Communicate inspection results to quality, shipping, and other departments and recommend corrective actions. • Conduct final inspections of fabricated equipment for quality and compliance. • Ensure correct coatings are applied to fabricated steel. • Inspect incoming materials for specification compliance. • Perform mechanical inspection of static/rotating equipment, skids, coolers, tanks, and process piping fabrication. • Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, transits) and set up dial and laser alignment devices. • Work safely in elevated areas. • Perform bolt‑up inspections and bolt lot verifications per RCSC specifications. • Support company strategic planning activities. • Assist in preparing quality control ITP. • Perform and record in‑process inspections/testing to maintain product traceability. • Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications. • Conduct pressure vessel and pipe fabrication inspections, including welding, supports, instrumentation. • Inspect structural steel fabrication. • Utilize various measuring and QC instruments to maintain product performance. • Verify installation of systems, components, and equipment per discipline. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for entire shift duration.

What You Bring

• Hold ASNT SNT‑TC‑1a VT level I, CWI, or CAWI certification. • Apply knowledge of AISC, AWS D1.1, D1.3, D1.6 codes. • Apply knowledge of ASME Sec. I, Sec. VIII, B31.1, B31.3 codes. • Minimum 1 year experience in fabrication or manufacturing. • Minimum 1 year experience in quality control inspection. • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues. • Experience with quality management tracking software. • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in structural fabrication. • High school diploma required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Stooping, kneeling, or bending occasionally. • Frequent use of hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects. • Frequent interaction with people and technology during shift. • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally. • Frequent use of telephone, computer, email, and other electronic devices for communication.
