About the Role

In this position you will join a team dedicated to maintaining high cleaning standards, supporting on‑site personnel and contributing to a sustainable future. The role involves routine and ad‑hoc janitorial duties, planned maintenance, monitoring of standards, and assisting other sites as directed. • Carry out routine and ad‑hoc janitorial duties to support on‑site personnel and meet contract conditions. • Perform planned cleaning maintenance within agreed timescales and procedures, including property maintenance within competence. • Monitor cleaning standards to ensure compliance with quality management procedures. • Maintain safe and efficient operation of the school’s energy systems according to contract requirements. • Provide support and assistance to other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager. • Follow health and safety best practices and adopt safe working methods. • Adhere to COSHH regulations when handling hazardous substances. • Complete a PVG/Disclosure check as part of the recruitment process. • Work collaboratively within a team, following procedures that ensure safety and high standards.
