About the Role
The Container Delivery Driver – Non‑CDL is responsible for safely operating a vehicle to deliver and remove containers for residential and commercial customers. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets company safety standards, complying with all applicable regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. Key duties involve performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, following route sheets and maps, operating truck controls to load and unload containers, and interacting courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. The driver also performs minor on‑site container repairs, cleans accidental waste spills according to safety policies, monitors vehicle condition to minimize downtime, and completes required productivity and condition reports while adhering to all safety procedures and the ReSOP program. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections • Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and follow route sheets • Load and unload containers using manual and automatic controls • Provide courteous service to customers and communicate with dispatchers • Conduct minor on‑site container repairs • Clean accidental waste spills in accordance with safety standards • Complete route productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports and other required documentation • Participate actively in the ReSOP safety program • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication • Adhere to all company policies, safety standards and hold a valid driver’s license
