About the Role
The Materials Associate processes all incoming and outgoing shipments, keeps work areas organized and clean, verifies product quality, and ensures proper documentation for every order. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, safe material handling, and active communication with the production team to meet customer expectations and production schedules. The Materials Team functions as the circulatory system of Base, moving high‑tech components and finished battery units flawlessly through the facility to customers. By maintaining inventory accuracy and structural integrity in a physically demanding environment, the team directly enables Base’s mission and safeguards reliability before a product leaves the warehouse. • Securely package and wrap products for transit. • Verify shipment paperwork accuracy using ERP. • Generate bills of lading and maintain shipping documentation. • Monitor conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or storage areas. • Inspect products for quality and packaging compliance before shipment. • Stretch‑wrap and prepare pallets for delivery. • Track daily shipping items and update the production team on status. • Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials and equipment. • Manage recycling of materials in compliance with environmental regulations. • Process inbound shipments, verifying counts and quality against paperwork. • Deliver in‑process materials or parts to production areas as needed. • Perform visual inspections of received items for accuracy and quality. • Record and maintain accurate inventory data. • Conduct inventory stock spot checks as directed. • Participate in end‑of‑month inventory counts. • Load and unload trailers, sweeping and cleaning to preserve product integrity. • Assist in assembly or production processes when required. • Perform local deliveries and pickups using company vehicles. • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and aisles. • Participate in daily production meetings to share shipping/receiving updates.

What You Bring
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED. • Possess 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience (preferred). • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Ability to lift 50‑70 lb and perform physical tasks up to 12 hours daily. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork.
