About the Role
The role involves installing and commissioning complex field devices for building control systems, troubleshooting technical problems, and handling basic warranty calls. It requires regular communication with Johnson Controls teams, contractors, and customers to report progress and address concerns, as well as supporting system validation and delivering site‑specific training to owners and operators. The incumbent also provides technical support and training to Front Line Managers, operations, and sales teams, and acts as a Subject Matter Expert by guiding junior staff and advising leadership on optimal technical solutions. • Install and commission advanced system field devices using JCI tools and procedures. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues on site. • Manage basic warranty service requests promptly. • Communicate project status and concerns to JCI teams, contractors, and customers. • Validate full system functionality before project handover. • Deliver site‑specific training on building automation and control systems to owners, operators, and end users. • Provide technical guidance and training to Front Line Managers, operations, and sales teams. • Mentor junior engineers and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for technical decisions. • Ensure compliance with Johnson Controls safety, quality, and operational standards. • Collaborate independently and with cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a university degree with at least one year of experience, a two‑year technical degree with a minimum of six years experience, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. Strong technical knowledge of building automation, excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities, and effective communication skills are essential. The role also demands the ability to train and mentor others, understand commissioning tools and system integration, and work both independently and collaboratively while adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards.
