About the Role

This role supports the President of Climate Solutions AME and the leadership team, executing the organization’s strategic vision and driving revenue growth. The Special Assistant enhances leadership effectiveness, fosters cross‑functional collaboration, and gains exposure to enterprise‑wide initiatives. Key duties include acting as the primary liaison between the President and stakeholders, providing strategic counsel, managing leadership team rhythms such as meeting agendas and executive briefings, and overseeing the annual goal‑alignment process. The role also drives cross‑functional strategic initiatives—long‑range planning, digital transformation, and ecosystem programs—while defining deliverables, timelines, and accountability, and monitoring KPIs to inform decision‑making. The Special Assistant develops executive‑level communications for internal and external audiences, coordinates presentation development for major events and customer visits, and ensures consistent messaging across departments. Additionally, they track competitor earnings releases, extract strategic insights, and coordinate investor‑relations responses aligned with corporate messaging. • Serve as primary liaison between President and key stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely execution. • Provide strategic counsel and thought leadership on critical decisions and organizational challenges. • Manage leadership team rhythms, including meeting agendas, action tracking, executive briefings, board presentations, and town hall materials. • Oversee annual goal‑alignment process for the leadership team. • Drive cross‑functional strategic initiatives such as long‑range planning, digital transformation, and connected ecosystem programs. • Define deliverables, timelines, and ownership for strategic projects and ensure accountability. • Monitor KPIs and business performance metrics to support decision‑making and course correction. • Develop executive‑level communications for internal and external audiences, including Carrier Board, ELT, and key customer events. • Coordinate and polish presentations for major events and customer visits. • Track and analyze competitor earnings releases to extract insights for strategic decisions. • Coordinate timely responses to investor‑relations requests, aligning with corporate messaging and leadership priorities.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or management, 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, business development or product management, and at least three years of experience in executive presentation development, analytical thinking and storyboarding. Preferred qualifications are an MBA or postgraduate degree, a proven ability to lead complex projects and influence senior stakeholders, familiarity with Carrier’s structure and strategic priorities, and experience in strategy, finance, engineering or supply chain within a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
