About the Role

The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the full spectrum of on‑site operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial management, administration, and risk mitigation, while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair housing regulations. • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate on‑site staff; create weekly schedules; address performance issues in line with HR policy. • Control costs and maximize net operating income; develop annual budgets; monitor rent collections, vendor invoices, and prepare timely financial reports. • Design and execute annual marketing plans; lead leasing activities, resolve resident complaints, and implement retention programs. • Oversee administrative and leasing reporting; coordinate emergency response; ensure timely maintenance, property inspections, and quality repairs. • Manage vendor relationships, obtain bids, and supervise construction or rehabilitation projects to ensure quality and expediency.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma (a bachelor’s degree is preferred) and have relevant housing industry experience; certification as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) is preferred. Applicants should be proficient with on‑site software, possess basic computer skills, and understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements, as well as have reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties. • Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in varied indoor and outdoor environments, including low or high temperatures. • Must have reliable transportation to meet emergency on‑call requirements.

Benefits

Compensation includes a salary range of $23 per year to $25 per year, plus a comprehensive total rewards package featuring medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, commission and performance bonuses when applicable, paid sick days, and company holidays.
