About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The role also involves installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. Key duties include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, creating and closing work orders with accurate labor and parts data, tracking inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining positive relationships across the facility. • Promote safety by following all procedures • Perform preventative maintenance and document activities • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays) • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours and parts • Manage department inventory • Mentor junior technicians • Maintain positive relationships across the operations facility • Work in variable‑temperature warehouse environment

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience, and one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading. Additional requirements include knowledge of electrical principles, proficiency with a CMMS, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Flexible scheduling ability is also required. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, familiarity with OEM and safety standards for material handling equipment, experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and basic input‑output troubleshooting skills. The position requires physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts and regularly lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing required personal protective equipment. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and involves 6‑12 miles of movement between departments daily. • Hold high school diploma or equivalent • Minimum 2 years experience repairing material handling equipment or conveyor systems • Minimum 2 years experience in predictive and preventative maintenance • At least 1 year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics • Familiarity with electrical/electronic principles and CMMS • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts • Associate degree or higher in mechanical/electrical field (preferred) • Knowledge of OEM and safety standards for MHE (preferred) • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred) • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform overhead, kneeling, climbing tasks • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face shield, composite toe shoes
