About the Role
• Develop and execute growth strategy for the Cincinnati market aligned with regional and national objectives. • Identify and participate in key industry events to support business development. • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of project opportunities in AECOM’s CRM system. • Lead pursuits, proposal reviews, and interview preparation for new projects. • Collaborate with capture managers, client account managers, project managers, and technical practitioners. • Manage engineering design of water and wastewater projects. • Develop talent and support career planning through goal setting and performance management. • Serve as Client Account Manager for key Cincinnati utilities (MSDGC, GCWW, Northern Kentucky SD1). • Support operations and project delivery teams to exceed performance goals. • Apply best practices and technology using Technical Practice Network methodologies.

What You Bring
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field with 8+ years experience (or equivalent). • Minimum: 3+ years of business development experience. • Preferred: Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering. • Preferred: Professional Engineer license in Ohio or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months. • Preferred: 15 years of municipal water/wastewater infrastructure experience, including design, assessment, and rehabilitation. • Preferred: Proven leadership of complex municipal water/wastewater projects, especially in Ohio or Kentucky. • Preferred: Experience managing staff and leading multidisciplinary design teams. • Preferred: Coordination experience with regulatory agencies. • Preferred: Presentations at professional conferences and leading technical workshops.
