About the Role

Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear‑end lift attachments, transporting waste or recyclable containers that can exceed 1,000 lb. The role includes commercial, residential, and roll‑off routes, requiring skilled backing maneuvers and navigation through high‑traffic, congested roadways, alleyways, and tight industrial sites. Walk‑in interviews are held Wednesdays from 8 AM‑3 PM at 4521 Steelway Blvd, Liverpool, NY. • Operate vehicle according to WM safety rules, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or service issues immediately. • Attend all required trainings, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency. • Notify manager or dispatch of service interruptions, heavy receptacles, or safety hazards. • Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump all receptacles fully and leave the site clean and free of debris. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and check‑out procedures. • Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer service demands.
