About the Role
In this role you will leverage engineering expertise and the firm’s technology-centric advantage to collaborate with design engineers, vendors, contractors, and client personnel to design, test, commission, optimize, and validate electrical systems in 24 × 7 mission-critical plants, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare sites, power generation plants, and similar environments. The position includes a flexible schedule with in‑office work Monday through Thursday and a remote half‑day on Fridays. The position involves developing and coordinating functional testing of multi‑stack equipment and redundant system configurations, reviewing criteria, specifications, drawings, and equipment submittals, and ensuring proper documentation throughout the commissioning process. You will be responsible for creating and managing commissioning plans and system manuals in accordance with Syska standards. • Write and administer Commissioning Plans and Systems Manuals per Syska format. • Oversee QA/QC processes for own work and that of teammates. • Assist senior commissioning engineer/project manager with scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. • Conduct construction administration and field investigations, including inspections and detailed reports. • Apply LEED principles to building designs.

What You Bring
Candidates should have extensive experience commissioning or designing large mechanical systems for industrial, data‑center, pharmaceutical, or clean‑room applications, combined with strong self‑motivation, relationship‑building, and communication skills. Technical expertise must be complemented by the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. • Possess at least 7 years of hands‑on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of large Electrical or Mechanical systems. • Have 7–10 years of relevant MEP field experience. • Understand basic system selection principles. • Know applicable codes thoroughly. • Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, PECI Cx, or RETRO‑Cx procedures is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $83,583 – $164,554 USD, with final compensation aligned to experience, skill set, and location.
