About the Role

The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the collection, analysis, and consolidation of sales activity data, as well as preparing scheduled reports. Responsibilities include analyzing price‑increase impacts, reviewing municipal contracts and tariffs, and ensuring accurate billing. The incumbent will also manage billing system changes, resolve credit and collection issues, and interact with customers to address account problems. Monthly account reconciliation, preparation of closing entries, and assistance with month‑end statements are key financial duties. The role contributes to the annual budgeting process by analyzing and preparing sales schedules. • Plan, coordinate, and supervise collection, analysis, and consolidation of sales activity data and prepare scheduled reports. • Analyze impact of price increases and prepare summary reports. • Review and audit municipal contracts and WUTC tariffs to ensure correct billing and report findings. • Coordinate and implement billing system changes required by contracts or business needs. • Serve as point person for the Market Area to resolve credit and collection issues, follow up on remedy tickets, and distribute cancellation requests. • Interact with customers to resolve account problems. • Prepare closing entries and detailed scheduled reports of sales activity and other financial matters. • Review and reconcile assigned accounts monthly, checking and resolving discrepancies. • Assist in preparation of statements and month‑end closing. • Analyze and prepare sales schedules for the annual budget process.

What You Bring

We are seeking a detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will build and utilize formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other advanced functions to interpret data, generate insights, and support business decision‑making. This role also oversees and implements activities related to revenue management. Required qualifications are a High School Diploma or GED and at least seven years of relevant experience. A preferred qualification is an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field. Physical demands include repetitive motions, coordination, and typical office activities such as sitting, talking, and using standard office equipment.
