About the Role
• Identify and pre‑qualify customer decision makers to develop comprehensive energy‑conservation and renewable solutions. • Conduct site visits to assess mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and gather utility data and infrastructure drawings. • Analyze opportunities for conservation, prepare energy‑savings calculations, and perform technical engineering assessments. • Support engineers with design, construction, operations, and maintenance activities for energy‑saving performance contracts. • Collaborate with Project Engineers to create conceptual and detailed designs, bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for efficient building technologies. • Provide pre‑construction and constructability reviews and develop financial and pricing models during project development. • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to verify feasibility and pricing of proposed project modifications. • Deliver technical guidance throughout development, construction, commissioning, and operations, including proposals, reports, and presentations. • Ensure project implementation meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical requirements for customer energy‑cost savings. • Develop and execute sales strategies to surpass annual goals and prepare winning proposals and presentations. • Manage the development schedule and overall responsibility for proposals, including energy‑savings calculations and financial evaluations. • Maintain strong internal and external customer relationships and perform other duties as required.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) and at least five years of experience in energy‑efficiency development or engineering design. Professional credentials such as a PE, CEM, or LEED AP are advantageous, as are skills in energy‑savings analysis, complex chiller/boiler projects, measurement and verification, and financial modeling. • Hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential, and/or LEED AP accreditation (preferred). • Demonstrate ability to analyze and quantify energy savings for complex projects involving chillers, boilers, motors, VSDs, HVAC retrofits, controls, and distributed generation. • Possess knowledge of measurement and verification, project cost estimating, and accounting. • Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Proven track record of developing and securing sales of complex energy‑efficiency offerings. • Skilled in lead development, scoping projects, and assessing constructability of systems.
