About the Role
The Electrical Engineer will design and develop vehicle electrical systems for heavy equipment, creating schematics, application drawings, and supporting manufacturing with design changes. Responsibilities include coordinating deliverables, conducting design reviews, maintaining documentation, and staying current with emerging electrical technologies. The role requires effective communication, analytical problem‑solving, and the ability to manage workload and status reporting. • Create detailed schematics and circuit diagrams for heavy‑equipment vehicle electrical systems. • Develop component selections, cable sizing, load analyses, and bill‑of‑materials for vehicle applications. • Provide up to 10% manufacturing support, addressing design questions, corrections, and change documentation. • Collaborate with suppliers to integrate electrical components and systems into vehicle designs. • Interpret customer and engineering specifications to generate required electrical applications. • Manage and communicate the status of all electrical deliverables against order and production schedules. • Conduct design reviews throughout development phases and produce accurate manufacturing documentation. • Monitor emerging electrical technologies and evaluate their impact on vehicle system design. • Organize workload to deliver timely status updates and progress reports. • Apply advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex electrical issues.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BSEE (or equivalent) and have 3‑5 years of experience designing vehicle electrical systems, with exposure to electrical controls, CAD schematic tools, SAP, and MS Office. Preferred qualifications include an advanced engineering degree, Six Sigma, Model‑Based Engineering, and project‑management training. Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and analytical reasoning are essential.
