About the Role
The Programme Lead will manage senior direct reports, providing strategic direction and overseeing the implementation of programme strategies to ensure delivery aligns with overall vision and objectives. Responsibilities include defining the delivery environment, assembling the right project team, optimizing resources, acting as the public face of the programme, maintaining safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance and risk standards, overseeing comprehensive documentation, fostering an inclusive high‑performing team, and linking the programme to the wider business strategy while ensuring commercial and ethical viability. • Lead and coordinate delivery of a major airport expansion programme. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, including people, processes, and technology. • Assemble and manage a skilled project team, including external specialists. • Optimize resources and improve performance against the bid baseline. • Serve as the primary public representative and chair executive steering group meetings. • Ensure safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, and risk compliance. • Maintain comprehensive programme documentation and lessons learned. • Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team culture that encourages contribution and recognition. • Align programme objectives with broader business strategy and commercial viability.
