About the Role

In this role you will lead survey programs using seismic, electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, GPR and gravity techniques across various environments, manage data acquisition, quality control, inversion and modelling, and translate the results into subsurface models that inform project planning, risk assessment and mitigation. You will produce technical reports, figures, models and presentations for multidisciplinary teams and clients, supervise field crews, mentor junior staff, and work closely with hydrogeology, geotechnical, environmental and infrastructure specialists to integrate geoscience into project solutions. • Design and lead geophysical surveys using seismic, electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, GPR, and gravity methods. • Oversee data acquisition, quality control, inversion and modelling with industry‑leading software. • Interpret multi‑method datasets to create subsurface models for project planning and risk mitigation. • Produce technical deliverables—including reports, figures, models and presentations—for multidisciplinary teams and clients. • Direct field crews, mentor junior geophysicists and technicians, and ensure safe, efficient field operations. • Collaborate with hydrogeology, geotechnical, environmental and infrastructure teams to integrate geoscience solutions. • Contribute to practice innovation by testing new sensors, workflows and analysis tools.

What You Bring

The Earth & Environment team is seeking an experienced Geophysicist to apply advanced geophysical methods for sustainable design, infrastructure development and environmental decision‑making, tackling complex subsurface challenges and elevating the regional geoscience practice. The position requires a degree in Geophysics or a related field (a graduate degree is advantageous), 5–8+ years of applied geophysical project experience, proficiency with industry software such as ReflexW, SeisImager or Oasis montaj, and the ability to operate in remote, rugged field conditions. • Hold a degree in Geophysics, Geological Engineering, Earth Sciences or related discipline; graduate degree is a plus. • Possess 5–8+ years of applied geophysical project experience, including leading field programs. • Proficient with tools such as ReflexW, SeisImager, RES2D/3D, Oasis montaj, VOXI or equivalent platforms. • Comfortable working outdoors in remote, rugged sites and operating off‑road transport and equipment. • Commitment to health, safety and environmental policies; physical fitness required for field roles.
