About the Role

• Prepare a bill of quantities reconciliation with respect to actual quantities. • Prepare monthly financial and costs reports including estimate reports and variance reports. • Support the SQS to perform risk and value management on the project as well as cost control. • Measure progress of work and coordinate payments including interim payments to contractors. • Measure variations, quantities and costs. • Prepare a monthly cash flow chart. • Negotiate and agree variations for both quantities and costs. • Register and review all drawing issues for quantities and cost implications. • Attend regular site meetings with internal and external stakeholders to discuss variations and monthly valuation. • Assist the SQS in evaluating claims and preparation of change/variation orders. • Attend meetings with client for all cost and commercial aspects during project.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Quantity Surveying Discipline from a recognized university. • Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is essential. • Significant experience in construction related quantity surveying. • Experience must include major programs; metro and rail experience will be advantageous. • Proven experience in closing out final accounts on large projects, claims and variations. • Knowledge in evaluating site instructions and variation orders. • Experience in assessing and evaluating contractor’s claims. • Demonstrate skills to implement methods for dispute avoidance and resolution. • Ability to utilize computer technology to analyse data, maintain records, analyse financial data and generate reports.
