About the Role

Following significant growth and continued delivery success, Turner & Townsend is recruiting Senior Project Managers to lead high‑profile infrastructure projects. The role is based in London with regular interaction with colleagues and client teams across the South‑East region, and involves mentoring the next generation of project managers. • Manage complex infrastructure projects and programmes across the full lifecycle, including contract, financial, health, safety and environmental responsibilities. • Lead and develop project teams, fostering collaboration in ambiguous or challenging environments. • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, partners and diverse personalities. • Analyse complex problems quickly and deliver workable solutions under pressure. • Plan, organise and communicate multiple work streams, liaising with senior client representatives. • Oversee procurement processes and NEC contract administration (beneficial). • Coordinate contractors, consultants and advisors on infrastructure projects (beneficial). • Contribute to a flexible, healthy work environment that promotes work‑life balance, personal development and diversity.

What You Bring

Senior Project Managers work on a broad portfolio that includes aviation, roads, rail, telecommunications, utilities and other infrastructure sectors. The position requires deep experience in managing projects and programmes through all stages of the lifecycle. Key expectations include applying project management principles to meet client objectives, overseeing contract and financial management, ensuring health, safety, quality and environmental standards, and delivering effective project controls. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical problem‑solving and the ability to motivate teams under pressure. Beneficial experience comprises procurement and NEC contract management, coordinating contractors, consultants and advisors, and having consultancy or client‑side project management exposure, particularly within public‑sector or arm‑s’ length bodies. Applicants should hold a degree or HND in a management, construction or infrastructure‑related discipline, or equivalent experience, together with professional affiliation or near‑qualification from APM, ICE, ITP or similar bodies. Relevant certifications include APM/PRINCE2/MSP project management qualifications and NEC PM accreditations. • Apply consultancy or client‑side project management experience in public‑sector contexts (beneficial). • Hold a degree or HND in construction, management or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Maintain professional affiliation with APM, ICE, ITP or similar and hold project management certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP or APM, plus NEC PM accreditation.
